| The Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists (WSO) consists of dues paying members of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Midwestern Society of Orthodontists (MSO) and WSO who live in Wisconsin. We represent and serve the needs of our membership of approximately 200 specialty trained orthodontists. An orthodontist is a graduate of an accredited dental school, with at least two additional years of post graduate university training in the specialty of orthodontics, usually graduating with a master’s degree in orthodontics (DDS, MS). The purpose of the WSO is consistent with the MSO and AAO and is meant to be the component (state) organizational connection to Wisconsin orthodontists with the following goals:
