| Dr. Otto Minshall, a life member of the Wisconsin Society Orthodontists, died on October 14, 2011. He was 96 years old. Dr. Minshall practiced general dentistry in Kenosha until he returned to graduate school at age 47. Dr. Minshall was a member the first graduating class of Marquette University's orthodontic department. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte. The WSO extends our deepest sympathy to Dr. Minshall's family, friends and colleagues. Dr. Donald Mortensen, passed away unexpectedly on June 10, 2011. Dr. Mortensen attended UW-Madison for two years before transferring to the Marquette School of Dentistry. After his term there, he joined the Army and served in Korea. Upon his return to the United States, Don attended the University of Indiana to obtain his orthodontics degree. In 1971 he established an orthodontic practice in Neenah, and was only one patient away from full retirement. A memorial service was held Saturday, June 18. A memorial fund will be set up to provide all donations to the Wisconsin Lion’s Camp in Rosholt, WI. The WSO extends our deepest sympathy to Dr. Mortensen’s family, friends and colleagues.
